This is a lovely vintage 1961 Rolex Oyster Precision The 34mm case has exceptionally thick lugs for a piece from this date, it also has the original winding crown, the reference number and serial number are between the lugs and case back cover is lightly engraved IJG 1961 for the original owner which is a nice touch. The bracelet is a matching riveted Rolex bracelet dated 1974, so it's not original to the case but it is as perfect a match for this model as you're likely to find. The dial has no scratches at all, the hands and lume on the hands and dial markers all appear to be original, there's just a little bit of oxidising on the numerals really only visible under the loupe but nothing that should put you off. The original movement is in great shape and it has just recently been cleaned |
